  2. I love this template!! But ... is there a way to make the "paper" part of the template narrower so that my sidebar stuff is only on the background and doesn't overlap the "paper?" Thanks for your help!

  3. Hi Prairie

The same background is also for 3 column here. That should be right size for your blog:

  4. hi again, i was wondering if somehow i'd grabbed the 2-column code! so i have now swapped that out and have the 3-column code ... but now i don't have any background at all. :-(

the header is pretty, but i'd like to have the diamond background too. i even reinstalled the minima template and went through the process of changing it to 3 columns again. i'd messed around with it soooooo much yesterday, that i'd forgotten what i'd tried to customize! all i've done so far today is just take the borders off the header.

can you help me get the background back? thanks!

  5. Hi Prairie
You have there nice diamond background, it might be that you don't have right resolution on your screen. I see the whole background with my monitor. It looks really nice.

  6. My resolution is set at 1024 x 768 (17" monitor), which I thought was fairly average. It works for every other web site I visit.

Are you using the 22" monitor you mentioned in another post? Would you mind checking it on the 15" monitor? I'm going to ask a few friends to check it too. Thanks!

  7. Hi
I see the background there too, but of course not as much as with the bigger screen, but the background is surely there.

  8. Thanks again! I appreciate it ... just wish I could enjoy it too. All I can see is the header. Sigh.

  9. These 3 column backgrounds are a bit difficult with some screens. What do you see about this background on this blog, this is same size and the bird background?

  10. I can't find where I left my previous post, but it was right after the same bird background.

Anyway, a friend has assured me that the background is still visible ... to her. It's not so much the computer as it is a resolution issue. This computer is a Dell (and was near the top of the line when I bought it 5 years ago). And yes, it's getting old, but the bottom line is that the resolution only goes up to 1280x1024. I don't remember the exact setting my friend used, but I think it was 1700+. Is there any way to adjust these blog templates for a lower resolution?

Your resolution has nothing to do with the problem. And no way to adjust the backgrounds for lower resolution, cause they have to fit with the blog template.

Your friend is using different browser, perhaps Firefox. I use always Firefox, and there might be sometimes some problems, if you install your background with an other browser.

  12. You are very clever and very generous to share these lovely creations - I love this simple bird one, but I found it very hard to choose, and may swap about at times - thanks!
