I'm trying to do the 3 column format. I feel pretty good after following your directions.
ReplyDeleteMy question is that my new "add a Gadget" section runs the lenth of the header. And not on the left side like I thought it would be. Are there some more numbers I need to alter?
I feel like I'm almost there.
Oh I kept my headder the same size (660) as the 2 column for now.

ReplyDeleteIf you have made everything right, you might already have a 3 column blog, but you must add the first gadget to the new left column, they try to slip away, but try again, it will work. And if not, check once more the code. It will work for sure. :)

Gave it another try today. So the side bars seem to be working. Yeah! But the posts keep to the left and keep getting pushed down. intead of being in the center. I keep rechecking the codes and was very slow and deliberate in entering them. I'm not going to give up! Thank You so much for helping and sharing all that you do!!!

ReplyDeleteI looked your blog, and I think you have everything right there with code, but you have something wrong there with arrangements of the elements. If you like, I could check your blog, but you have to give me your id and temporally password for it, but I really think it's a little thing to fix.
I don't know what I did this time differently from my other attemps but ...everything lined up perfectly.
